A loan helped to buy yam seeds and groundnut seeds, and to pay for clearing and tilling of her farm.
Rose Bong's story
Rose Bong is single with six children. They all live in a four-bedroom apartment in Bafut Northwest Region of Cameroon. She has encountered some difficulties in life, such as the death of family members who were a helping hand to her.
Rose Bong became frustrated from the stress of being a single parent. She was later advised to join Ghape by a neighbor, which she did in the year 2015. She has now taken and repaid two loans successfully.
With this new loan, she plans to buy yam seeds and groundnut seeds, and to pay for clearing and tilling of the farm land. She has a positive mindset that her business will progress because of past experience and the mutual customer relationship she has. Her activity will help the community by creating job opportunities and supplying food at moderate prices.
With the profit obtained, she will reinvest in her business, save some, and provide the basic necessities for her kids. She prefers a Ghape loan because of their low interest rate and because the repayment capacity is favorable.
This loan is special because:
It is coupled with multi-faceted trainings to support the poorest in Cameroon.
