Ibu Tani Saka Group's story
Kornelia and Teresia are neighbors who work to support their husbands and for their families' needs.
Kornelia is a 39-year-old who is married to Ferdinandus, a 47-year-old entrepreneur. They have five children Fani, 15, and Inggrid, 13, are both junior high school students. Diki, 10; Aris, 8; and the youngest Erwin, 7, are elementary students.
Kornelia has had a business as a huckster for two years and she was also a preschool teacher for three years; she was paid IDR 500.000 per month. Kornelia started the huckster business with her own capital in the amount of IDR 5.000.000 to purchase household needs such as mops, brooms, baskets, bowls, plates, glasses, cutlery, dish racks, kettles, etc.
Today, her business has an income as IDR 2.000.000 per day. In order to increase the income, Kornelia wants to add more things but she doesn't have enough money to do so.
Therefore, she and Teresia, who also needs additional capital, have applied to TLM for a group loan of IDR 4.000.000. Kornelia will use her IDR 2.000.000 part of the loan to purchase things to be sold, such as meat grinders, mugs, napkins, placemats, woks, etc.
