Sari'nity

Sari'nity

Feel Good Friday

The "sari"…Five+ yards of brightly colored fabric wrapped around a woman’s waist and draped over her shoulder. Even in the chaotic crowds of India’s modern cities, women in saris spread color, tradition and a sense of sari'nity...

The sari is a symbol of grace and cultural pride and is worn both in everyday life and on special occasions. Sisters Priya & Kamalini traveled from the US to Kolkata to be part of their cousin’s Bengali wedding. Amongst the energy and excitement of the celebration, they found a piece of that sari’nity when wearing this traditional attire too.

So they ventured to find the source of the saris…

in hopes of continuing to drape this fabric over their shoulders once they returned home.

Here’s to finding your sari’nity and to feeling good—because after all, it's Friday!

PS.  Plus a few more sari'nading fabrics found by other travelers around the globe...
