April Showers Bring May Flowers

April Showers Bring May Flowers

Goodbye, snow. HELLO, flowers!

The spring blossoms just sprung here this week and it’s about darn time!

With the COVID-19 pandemic, an economic downturn, and worldwide lockdowns, I think it’s safe to say that spring 2020 wasn’t what we were expecting.

But now that I see the beautiful flowers on the hills behind my home, I’m reminded of what the Spring season represents. It represents the hope that good weather is coming and that we’re exiting out of a dark, cold winter.

And, in light of the current situation, I’d like to think that it also represents the hope that better things are coming and that we will be exiting out of this pandemic (and it’s negative effects) pretty soon.

So from the super blooms putting the petal to the metal in California,

to the butterflies getting out of their cocoon in Maryland,

to the flower fields reaching their peak in British Columbia,

to the hills coming alive with the sound of music in Switzerland,

to the wildflowers creating the perfect photo to share with your buds in Washington,

to the snow melting and making you water-fall in love with nature in Iceland,

to simply being able to hang out and enjoy the beautiful outdoors (whether in Virginia or in your own hometown),

…. May the hope of Spring cheer you up and get you excited for the good things to come!

Speaking of good things...

Here’s to stopping to smell the flowers every once in a while & to feeling good—because after all, it’s Friday!

P.S. Plus a few more floral totes that’ll put a spring in your step
