Homeward Bound

After 4 months in Asia, we are homeward bound for the summer!  But we didn't come back empty handed...  Rolls on rolls of fabrics in hand, so get ready for new fabrics coming at YOU in the upcoming months.

There are 4 types of Hmong people that live in this area. The Red Hmong, Black Hmong, Green Hmong and the Flower Hmong tribes. We visited a very remote region that is dominated by the Flower Hmong people and we explored the Bac Ha market which is rarely seen by outsiders.

A Rwanda'ring Hero

Kigali is a beautiful hilly city, quite green and very clean. People are super nice and eager to tell you about their history, including the genocide. Rwanda does not allow plastic bags, so, unlike other African countries, there is no plastic flying around or laying on the streets.
